I was sitting on the bus after the bell rang, finalizing the end of the school year. I had just taken my German 4 exam, which had gone much easier than anticipated, when it dawned on me as i sat on the bus.

I'm now officially a rising senior.
The last year of high school.
I'm growing up.
Summer is here.
I'm going to college soon.
A lot of my friends aren't going to be here next year; they've all graduated.
My classes are going to become much more difficult.
Some of the classes next year are getting cut, as are my teachers.
I'll have to have private tutoring lessons for German since my teacher got cut too.
I need to start looking for colleges.
I need to make my portfolio.
I need to do a lot of things.
My birthday is coming.

A lot of things went through my mind, and i'm kind of sad about the direction this is heading. I've been waiting so long to get out of high school, of school in general and move on, but. I thought to myself: Now that the year where it all ends is coming, i'm kind of scared. I want to stay with my friends and enjoy my life and childhood, or these teenage years. I'm going to have to become much more responsible for myself as i become an adult, but i still have a while--i haven't even turned 17 yet.
There's going to be so much more change, and change is something that was never particularly my favorite subject.

Alas, i will move on with my head upright and a straight face, but willing to smile and accept the new things to come. I shall move on and work hard to achieve what i've been dreaming for all my life--the college i want, the career of my dreams, happiness. I am happy now, but i am going to make sure that it all stays this way.

I've gone through a lot this year, emotionally, mentally, physically. I'm growing up and learning.
And loving all of it, even when i struggle, because i know it's only a lesson meant to teach me something valuable. A moral. Life's morals are being thrown at me and i'm accepting them in. I have to thakn all my friends for the support given to me this year. It's extremely appreciated, and i love you all so dearly.

I know not what the future has to hold, but i know it holds promises, hopes, and dreams. I am a believer and optomistic, and i hope to attain all of these that i've longed for.

I'm going to work on my art a lot this summer. I'll try to upload some here to show y'all my progress. I'm improving rapidly and it's making my heart spin in glee.
That, and i am also excited for silly little things, like working with my characters and just being a nerd~

There's a lot on my mind right now. I have to learn how to drive this summer and i'm going to start looking for colleges, although i know where i want to go, it's just a matter of working to get in there.
I know i want to double major in animation and German. It won't be easy, but I hope it all works out.

In the meanwhile, i'm going to enjoy my summer while it lasts...
